Altitude Multisport Club

When and where do you meet?

Our workout locations vary, depending on the discipline and season.  Generally, our schedule and locations are:
  • Club Swims - Sundays January through May, 7-8 AM, Parker Recreation Center
  • Saturday Club Runs - every Saturday, 8 AM in the winter, 7 AM in the summer, locations rotate between Parker and Castle Rock with a few field trips (Dawson Butte, Highline, Waterton Canyon, Hidden Mesa) thrown in for fun.  Check the calendar and our facebook group for the most current schedule and location.
  • Sunday Club Bike Rides - every Sunday morning April - Sept (weather dependent).  Rides typically start at the Parker Rec Center and the routes are 1-2 hours in duration.  We typically ride Hess or out to Cherry Creek.  Occasionally we will expand our terrain and ride Palmer Lake, Deer Creek Canyon, and the former Harvest Moon course.  Check the calendar and our facebook group for the most current schedule and location.
  • Weekday Track Workouts - date and location TBD, but will be in Parker and in the evening.  Track practice will have a club coach and have a duration of 1 hour.
  • We will also be offering weekday swims and bike rides - these will be announced on our calendar and facebook page.

Do you have any club meetings?

Yes!  Our club meetings are held monthly and are typically on the second Monday of each month.  Locations and topics vary - check the calendar and our facebook group for the most current schedule and location.

Can I participate in a club workout if I am not a member?

We prefer that you be a member prior to joining a club workout for liability reasons.  However, if you would like to check our group out prior to joining, please email membership@altitudemultisport.com; requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

What if I'm a beginner?  Are there workouts that I can participate in?

Our workouts are open to athletes of ALL abilities.  You don't even have to be a triathlete - we have several members who join in for only our club runs.  We welcome people of all abilities from beginners to experienced athletes.  Our club runs are typically an hour in length and are out and backs, which make it easy to run as far or as short as you please.  Our bike rides will have bail-out options along the way and experienced ride leaders to help those that aren't used to cycling on roads or for longer distances.  Our swim workouts are open to all abilities and we have a coach on deck to provide guidance during the workout.

Do I have to be a USAT member to join the club?

No, you do not.

Which races do AMC members usually compete in?

Our members compete in most of the local races and several of us race nationally as well.  We typically have large showings at area sprint distance races and Boulder 70.3.  We also have a number of members who are racing Xterras.

How do I get my login and password?

Once you have registered and submitted payment for your AMC membership, you will receive an email with your login and password. Once you log in to the AMC  website, you can reset your password.

Do your sponsors offer discounts to club members?

Several of our sponsors and local race directors offer discounts to our members.  Please see the Sponsors page (login required) to see what discounts are offered.

Do you offer coaching plans and individual coaching?

Given the wide array of abilities and race goals, we are unable to provide coaching plans or individual coaching to our members.  We have several qualified coaches who volunteer their time to the club - please reach out to them if you would like individualized coaching.

How do you define "family" for the family membership?

The family bundle is intended Immediate family members only (i.e. those living in one household.  And example of this is 2 adults and their children).
